City Scores

Hello Family and Friends,

Here we will post scores for the various neighborhoods we visited. Twenty-one categories were evaluated and given a score of 0 to 5 with 5 being the best. If a category wasn't evaluated then it was left at zero. Each category was also given a weight that acts as a multiplier so that more important categories have significantly higher scores. A perfect score would be 345.

Everything from walking distance to schools, restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies to vibe (people interactions) and character (neighborhood style) were evaluated at the neighborhood level. While how quickly one can see a doctor, sales, income and property tax were rated at the city, county or state level.
