About McKinney Sabbatical

On May 7, 2024 our family experienced one of the worst tragedies when we lost our oldest son and Atlas' older brother, Nathaniel Lyn McKinney, in a tragic accident. He filled our life with so much joy. After such a sudden loss, we decided to make some big changes. We sold our busniess, rented out our house and hit the road with the goal of finding a new home.

Brett, Atlas (toddler), Bruce (the dog) and I (Danielle) are starting our trip in the United States and visiting most major cities that have a true international airport (they go somewhere other than Canada and Mexico). We will also take our travel abroad (Don't worry mom, that is at a much later date). Join us as we share our travel stories, adventures, and the beautiful destinations we encounter along the way.
