Starting Europe

Hello Family and Friends,

After leaving Asia we returned back to Birmingham, Alabama. My parents are selling their house and we needed to get our stuff out of their attic and move it into storage. My Dad said we didn't need to come all the way back home to move our stuff into storage and they could handle it. Mom said we needed to come home to move our stuff out and that it would probably take a few months to get it done. We decided to split the difference and took about three weeks to move our items into storage and visit some friends and family.

We left Atlas behind with his grandparents on our New Orleans "vacation" and had an absolutely wonderful time just being adults.

And just like that our little reset is over and we are back on the road. Our next destination is Europe. The plan is to explore Europe till the end of the year. In our first month Brett is giving me a highlights of Europe tour and we are bringing along a former travel companion that regular readers will remember plus one more! We will be acting more like tourist spending 5 or so days in 6 different cities, whew! We are starting in Barcelona, Spain and ending in Milan, Italy. In the usual McKinney style the places in between will be determined as we go (meaning we don't know and will probably decide the night before based on train options.) We are super excited to visit Europe, it will be my first time. Brett says he has saved the best for last and expectations are super high!
